Terms of Service – English Version

1.    Nature of Agreement 

a.    This agreement is for accommodation in Le Studio's Convention Centre.
b.    It does not create a tenancy or real property interest.
c.    The agreement is personal and non-transferable.
d.    Rental of facilities is primarily for short-term, one-day events, unless there is a specific agreement for regular monthly meetings.

2.    Duration and Termination 

a.    The rental period lasts for the duration specified in the reservation invoice. 
b.    Le Studio reserves the right to end your event if our simple rules are not followed. 
c.    Detailed regulations and expectations are outlined in "Le Studio House Rules" document, which is an integral part of this agreement. Clients must adhere to these rules throughout their rental period.  Key rules include: 

1.    No candles or cooking allowed
2.    Proper use of chafing dishes and warming devices
3.    Careful use of smoke machines (false alarms incur a $500 fee)
4.    No wall damage (fees up to $2,000 may apply)
5.    No confetti or glitter allowed
6.    All decorations and trash must be removed after the events

d.    Le Studio has security cameras for occasional safety checks, respecting client privacy while ensuring compliance with rules. We do specific agreements to cover the cameras for religious and privacy purposes.
e.    The rental period lasts for the duration specified in the reservation invoice.
f.    For regular events or longer-term arrangements, separate terms may apply.
g.    Le Studio's standard closing time is midnight, with an option to extend until 1 AM for an additional fee of $200.
h.    Le Studio reserves the right to terminate the agreement under specific circumstances (e.g., client insolvency, breach of obligations).
i.    Alcohol and Permits. For private events without alcohol sales, no alcohol permit is required. Public events or those involving alcohol sales require obtaining a government permit wish is the client’s responsibility to obtain from local authorities.

3.    Insurance and Liability.

a.    Clients are responsible for insuring their own property and liability.
b.    Le Studio's liability is limited as specified in the full agreement.

4.    Confidentiality.  Terms of the agreement are confidential.

5.    Compliance with Law. Clients must comply with all relevant Quebec laws and regulations.

6.    Dispute Resolution. Agreement is governed by the laws of Quebec and local Ville of Longueuil regulstions. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of local courts.

7.    Reservation and Deposit Policy. 

a.    A $200 reservation and cleaning fee is required to secure the event date. 
b.    This fee is non-refundable in case of cancellation. 
c.    The deposit is partially refundable 50% if clients adhere to the rules at the end of their event, including removing all decorations. Disposing of all trash in designated outdoor containers. Not using confetti or glitter. Not leaving excessive food or drink spills in the floor.

8.    Services and Equipment 

a.    Le Studio provides venue rental with furniture and equipment. 
b.    Services include  WiFi access.  Sound system and video projection. Professional lighting equipment. Damages are the client responsibility to repair or replace.
c.    Le Studio does not provide catering services, utensils, or plates. 
d.    Clients are responsible for arranging their own catering and rentals if needed.

9.    Capacity and Event Types.

a.    Le Studio's facilities are suitable for various events, including business meetings, seminars, conferences, and private celebrations. 
b.    The venue can accommodate up to 120 chairs, with an option for additional seating. 
c.    Le Studio reserves the right to refuse certain types of events, including: Unsupervised events for minors. Halloween parties. Rave-style parties. Dance parties without chairs or tables are not permitted.

10.    Additional Fees and Services

a.    Chair covers can be rented for 3.50 per chair, including installation.
b.    An additional hour after midnight (until1AM) costs$200

11.    Responsibilities of the Client. Clients are expected to enjoy responsibly without constant supervision.   Clients must respect and properly use all equipment and furnishings provided by Le Studio. 

12.    Any damage to Le Studio's property may result in additional charges.
